When we saw that in 2024 the list of recipients of the Israel Prize included only 2 women and 13 men, we decided to act:
* We requested the data and found that up to 2024, fewer than 20% of nominees for the Israel Prize were women, and among the recipients, fewer than 20% were women.
* We reached out to all relevant departments across academic institutions in Israel and encouraged them to nominate the five leading women in their fields.
* We issued a public call for individuals to submit private nominations of women for the Israel Prize.
* We approached the Ministry of Education with a clear public and formal demand: Israel Prize 2025 - is 5050.
* We submitted recommendations to the Ministry of Education to reform the selection process for the Israel Prize, with the goal of ensuring equal gender representation among prize recipients.

Impact
- * We reached 50% women among Israel Prize recipients in 2025.
* An increase in the gender equality index in the awarding of state prizes funded by public money.
* Raised awareness of equality and the need for 50/50 representation.
* Encouraged gender equality in research and academia.
* Increased public engagement in advancing equality.
